Play Golf: Live Longer

It seems that a simple game of golf could actually help you live longer. According to a study conducted by the Scandinavian Journal of Medicine and Science in Sports, people that play golf can enjoy an increase in life expectancy and overall health. According to the study, the death rate for golfers is 40 percent lower than for non-golfers of the same sex, age and socioeconomic status. It seems the main benefits from playing golf come from being outdoors and walking for up to three or four hours. The study was based on data from 300,000 Swedish golfers.
“A round of golf means being outside for 4 or 5 hours, walking at a
fast pace for about 4 miles,”
So there you have it. Playing golf can really do wonders for your health.
